Canberra Based Property Developers, Amalgamated Property Group (APG), have acquired two of the most significant sites ever offered in the Canberra Market place.
ANZAC Park East, located at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and the Iconic Anzac Parade; and Block 8, Section 3, Parkes, also located on Constitution Ave; are both located within the Parliamentary triangle. This is the first time the Commonwealth has offered land for sale within this iconic parliamentary area to the private sector.
With a combined total land area in excess of 31,000 square metres, APG will continue to transform the Canberra landscape with vibrant new developments on the sites. The existing ANZAC Park East office building, which has been vacant since 1997, will be demolished and redeveloped into a mixed-use precinct that may include residential, commercial, restaurants, hotel, and retail.

APG will ensure the development has the ability to connect the community to the importance of the original 1960s buildings that were designed by the NCDC’s director of architecture, Gareth Roberts. The development will highlight the function of the original buildings in the development of the National Capital, through memorialisation and interpretive information incorporated into the new precinct.
Amalgamated Property Group is synonymous with high-end residential and commercial developments in Canberra. The group is currently redeveloping Civic Quarter, an entire section in the heart of the Canberra CBD. Stage one of the development is well underway, (civicquarter.com.au).
